Public Policy Manager for AI & Fintech @ Meta
Angeliki Dedopoulou is Public Policy Manager for AI & Fintech at Meta (formerly known as Facebook), responsible for the policy area of Artificial Intelligence, and Fintech related topics. Before joining Meta’s EU Public Affairs team, she was a Senior Manager for EU Public Affairs at Huawei focusing on AI, Blockchain, Green Deal and Digital Skills’ policy topics.
She was an adviser for the European Commission for over 5 years (through NTT Data Company) on DG Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion. Her main focus during this period was the European Classification of Skills, Competences, Qualifications and Occupations (ESCO) and the Europass Digital Credential project.
Ms Dedopoulou is a Member of the Board of the Hellenic Blockchain Hub and a Member of the Education and AI Ethics Group of AI4EU – Europe’s AI-on-Demand Platform.
She studied Political Science and History in Greece, Sociology in France and European Governance in Luxembourg. She also regularly writes articles and has travelled across Europe delivering speeches to policymakers, governments and industry summits, on topics ranging from the digital labour market to Artificial Intelligence.
