Dr Anastasia-Olga (Olnancy) Tzirides is a visiting lecturer at the University of Illinois Chicago, and an academic researcher at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. She is also a contract User Experience Researcher at Google.

Her research interests include generative AI, advanced digital technologies, artificial intelligence tools, user experience research, learning design, online education, as well as language and culture learning. Her recent research work focuses on exploring the intersection between Gen AI and Human Intelligence in educational settings.

Her dissertation research project focused on the potential of advanced digital technologies and artificial intelligence for collaborative language learning utilizing translanguaging and multimodal communication approaches.
