George holds a PhD from the National Technical University of Athens and currently serves as the Head of AI Engineering at PwC Greece. With over 20 years of experience in the fields of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Data Analytics, George is distinguished for his leadership skills and his contribution to innovative solutions that enhance product and service performance.

Throughout his career, he has worked across various industries, including retail, reinsurance, and neuroscience startups. He has taken on leadership roles, coordinating cross functional teams and leading market research to identify new opportunities. Additionally, he has created and executed detailed product roadmaps and participated in digital transformation projects, highlighting new product development sectors. Among other achievements, George has studied and developed tools based on biosignals and artificial intelligence to evaluate user experience (UX). The first 10 years of his career were spent in academia as a Senior Researcher, participating in numerous European and national projects. During this time, he developed human-computer interaction techniques with artificial intelligence in the area of computer vision and managed projects and supervised theses.

George has published numerous papers in prestigious journals and conferences and has received a significant number of awards and scholarships for his research and innovation.
