An early A.I. enthusiast, inspired by the WarGames film computer named “Joshua”, Mr. Prassoulas received his Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA 1986 – 1991) and a diploma thesis in the department of AI and Robotics. He then obtained an M.Sc. in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Bristol (U.K. 1991-1992) where he specialized in parallel logical programming and Neural Networks.

From 1994 until today, he is employed at Netcompany-Intrasoft (formerly known as Intrasoft International S.A.), holding various positions, always having a focus in technology and innovation. Efthymios is currently holding the position of Director for Public Sector Solutions Design and he is heading the Netcompany-Intrasoft AI Center of Excellence. He has a “deep” interest in AI and Machine Learning technologies, including Neural Networks, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing and of course Gen AI.
