Elena has studied Journalism and Mass Communications at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and holds an MSc in Political Science and Sociology from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Since her student years, she has been working in the Press and the online media. From 2006 to 2023, she worked as a journalist and a foreign news analyst, in most major TV and Radio stations of Greece, including MEGA Channel, SKAI TV and Star Channel. As of October 2023, she is the Head of Editorial of fyi.news, a cutting-edge, innovative social-media first news medium for the digital generations.

In the past few years, as a journalist, she has covered missions as well as television broadcasts for major events in Europe and internationally, including elections and the war in Ukraine.
