akovos Sarmas is an Associate at White & Case LLP and a core member of a team advising various leading online platforms on their compliance with the Digital Services Act (DSA) and in relevant European Commission enforcement and EU court proceedings. Iakovos is also an experienced EU antitrust attorney and holds two LL.M. degrees from the University of Cambridge and Columbia Law School. Prior to joining White & Case’s Brussels office in 2019, Iakovos practiced EU & Greek competition law in a leading Greek law firm and was also a stagiaire at chambers of Judge Papasavvas at the General Court of the European Union.
