John is an entrepreneur-first technology lover. Since his childhood he always wanted to push the limits of what’s possible to create using the latest tech of each time. This resulted in an amazing entrepreneurial journey with his best friend Stefanos Vasdekis starting back in 1998. John was a freshman in the Physics department of the University of Athens when he co-founded his first company.

Since then, he has co-founded (along with Stefanos) several other internet businesses, including an e-commerce SaaS platform for small businesses, an online software store, a webmastersʼ portal, a web development and marketing agency and a social network for students.

From 2012 until today, he has been focused on his current startup, Travelmyth, the hotel search engine for sophisticated travellers. The Travelmyth Team has developed advanced algorithms and AI machine learning models to respond to long tail search queries in the most unique hotel categories.
