Kimonas Sotirchos is the Engineering Manager responsible for driving all AI/ML and MLOps engineering initiatives at Canonical.

Believing that open source will always prevail the test of time, he is actively keeping up to date with the latest open source landscape. From LLM tooling and distributing models, all the way to enabling best-of-world ML practices on the laptop and on the cloud.

Kimonas’ love for open source extends to the Kubeflow open source project, started by Google, where he is leading two of its Working Groups and assists students to get involved with MLOps as a Google Summer of Code mentor.
