Back from his student years at both the National Technical University of Athens, as well as later on Stanford University, he has been given the opportunity to experience first-hand the evolution of the internet, as well as Artificial Intelligence from their birth until present day, which gives him a unique perspective on the development of digital technologies and AI. Panos has also gained solid experience in the field of information search, starting again during his student years where he experienced both the transition from online directories to search engines, as well as the creation of Google, which started within Stanford with the 2 co-founders being fellow graduates of his from the "neighboring" department of Computer Science.
Panos is an Electrical and Computer Engineer from the National Technical University of Athens, holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and also holds an Executive MBA degree from the Athens University of Economics and Business. He recently started his part-time PhD at the Ionian University in the area of Artificial Intelligence and Ethics and more specifically on the subject of the “alignment problem”.
