With over two decades of expertise in IT project management and strategic leadership, Thanassis has been pivotal in elevating UBITECH's profile within international research ecosystems. He holds a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering and has specialized in managing financial, administrative, technical and risk aspects for large-scale projects, including serving as a risk management expert for the ATHENS 2004 Olympic Games.

Thanassis's vision focuses on expanding UBITECH's capabilities in AI-driven research, cloud computing, edge processing, digital security & trust, robotics, next-gen networks and quantum computing technologies. His strategic initiatives support UBITECH’s involvement in numerous co-funded research projects and collaborations with prominent institutions, fostering technological advancements across Europe and beyond.
