Vincent is a result-driven executive with 20 years of global finance, corporate strategy, product sales & marketing experience across Telecom, Media, Education, Gaming, and Enterprise Software industries, with a focus on bridging innovations between Asian and rest of the world.
His areas of focus range from online/mobile gaming to alternative higher education, from virtual/augmented reality to artificial intelligence, and many technologies being used in early child development, K-12, higher education, corporate, and lifelong learning areas.
Formerly director of global investment team for NetDragon (a publicly listed media, gaming, and education/training industry leader from China), Vincent led global investment strategy, partnership negotiation, M&A and venture investment across North America, Europe, India and China. He played a significant role in the acquisition of the K12 interactive technology leader - Promethean World Inc. and US-based Jumpstart Games Inc. He was involved in many other investment transactions. During his tenure, NetDragon successfully grew its education business to an unicorn (in valuation) and a major global player in the digital learning, workforce training industry.
Previously Vincent also held various product sales and marketing leadership roles in MetraTech (a SaaS billing, revenue management, cloud & IoT automation company), NetCracker (a multi-billion telecom solution provider / wholly owned subsidiary of NEC), IBM, and PwC Consulting. As a consultant, he led digital transformation projects for various Fortune 100 companies, such as AT&T, Bellsouth, Sprint, BMW, Time Warner, McDonald, etc. He is accomplished at building and managing global team, roll out and development of new product and international markets across different countries, and resulting in significant increase in sales and improved customer satisfaction.
During his career, Vincent has been directly involved in the execution of transactions worth of more than two billion US dollars in total, ranging from M&A, divestment, bankruptcy restructuring, strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and minority investments. He has served as a board member and adviser to several technology startups, non-profit organizations in Boston. He was also a founding member of a proposed charter school in Massachusetts.
Vincent holds his degrees from Columbia University and University of Wisconsin-Madison.
